Gareth assisted in the development of two custom Android and Apple apps for VID and Rijkswaterstaat. These apps were written in Delphi XE, compiled to native Android and Apple OS mobile installables. Each application was assisted by a webservice, for which Gareth was chiefly responsible, and a data service for communication with a Firebird database.

ADAM

The Amsterdam traffic app provides users with real-time travel news for their favourite commuting routes in and around Amsterdam, including congestion and incident reporting, direct to the phone with rerouting advice. This data was provided direct from the traffic centre by Tenuki, cutting out any commercial lag.

Eva

The Amsterdam traffic app provides users with real-time travel news for official routes to event parking at large public events such as football matches and music concerts in and around Amsterdam, including temporary diversions, management direction, congestion and incident reporting, direct to the phone with rerouting advice. This data was provided direct from the traffic centre by Tenuki, cutting out any commercial lag.
